im going crazy for … im going crazy for this. I have an extreamly fast metabolism, like I would eat 10 cookies per day and i’ll actually lose weight, insteading of gaining. I’m so tired of being so skinny, I’m 15, I’m 6″1 and I have really skinny legs, well skinny every thing. I’m 140, and I’ve been working out for 2 months straite, and I’ve gained nothing. I’m getting protien shakes, would that help me alot? Please let me know I’m going crazy to gain weight and get stronger.
Hi @lisarenteria – … Hi @lisarenteria – If you’re naturally thin, then you’re not going to balloon into a ‘bulky man’ overnight, so don’t worry about that at all. The main challenge if you’re running track is your current calorie demands, and whether you can build in enough recovery time between ‘compound exercise’ weight training sessions, a high carb, high calorie diet, and your current training schedule to maximize results. @rampopat – Hi … @rampopat – Hi there – Good question. So…if you’re wanting to gain 1.5 stones, then that’s about 21 pounds in weight. As a conservative estimate about 4-5 pounds in additional healthy muscle weight PER MONTH is very realistic. So you”re probably looking at between 4 and 5 months to hit your target weight (as long as you’re consistent in following a solid weight gain diet and training plan). Thanks – Hope this helps.

i’m 5’11 and weigh … i’m 5’11 and weigh about 142… I eat like 4000 calories a day but i can’t weight. Besides playing soccer, I don’t see how i can burn that much energy every day.
