Work out with weights and eat very well. But at your age, you need to start out very slowly so you don’t cause any tendonitis or bursitis. Don’t lift the most weight, lift the best weight.

A gallo jug filled with water is heavie than your dumb bells use them. To build mass you use heavy weights to build endurance use a lot of reps. Cut down on sugar to lose weight.

Try purchasing a gym membership or take a 20 minute jog around your neighborhood while walking a dog or listening to music. Work on your abs by doing crunches in front of the TV. Just stay active!

Well,if you add muscle you will actually gain weight, since muscle weighs more than fat. Doing cardio like the treadmill and jump rope will help get rid of any excess fat. as for building muscle, you need to eat healthy and include a lot of protein rich meats to stimulate your muscles. Eat lots of fruits, veggies and meat, drink lots of water and stay away from too much sugar. Good luck with football!

Run on your treadmill (or just outside) for about 10-20 min each day. That will get rid of some fat. Jump roping could also do the trick. (any sort of cardio will also). I would suggest get 10 lb dumbells, if you could, and do a few reps with those to build arm stregth. (search to find sorts of excerises to do with dumbells) and using the ab lounge (or just doing sit-ups by yourself) you build yourself some nice stomach muscles. I would try doing 20-30 sit-ups every day. I hope that can get you started.

you have all the right materials but u should not worry too much you are only 13. if you gained a lot of muscle weight at this age it could stunt your growth. do some jump rope and running and leave the weights for now.

You mean how do you gain muscle and loose inches? If you are loosing weight you are not gaining muscle. If you are massivly over weight you will loose weight not at first because of the mucle gain. Muscle weighs more then fat.
Weight training of course. Diet with lots of carbohydrates but good carbohydrates that are High in fiber. Switch from white to brown, lots of protein and massive amount of vegetables.

Well if you want to lose fat and gain musle, just join your weight training class at your school if they have one, its free and they would have all the equipment you need. Weight lifting and conditioning is also great for getting you ready for football.

Don’t lose any fat, since you are "pretty small" you’re gonna need all the weight you can possible take on. As long as you exercise and stay in shape, you couldn’t care less about your weight. Remember: muscle weights more than fat, and muscle that replaces fat, for the most part stays muscle. Invest a couple of allowances on heavy weights. I got door stops that are heavier than your dumbells. And if you exercise with light weights you are only burning fat without gaining volume. The way to gain muscle mass is low repetitions with as much weight as you can handle, one day on and one off since muscle grows when it’s resting after exercising, not while exercising. Jump rope is also a fat burner, that’s what boxers hit to lose weight quick, stick to jogging (not running) to stay fit without losing much mass, ab lounge you should definitely use, again, low reps with lots of resistance, you’ll need strong abs for any sport. Again don’t worry, eat as much as you can, you’ll need the calories.

hey I’m 13 and i just finished playing football. i broke my leg playing right before the playoffs-BUT-i have some ideas that might help. start light with the dumbells to give your arms some warm-up. do how ever many u feel comfortable with-until your arms get tired.-make sure you strecth out your muscles so they aren’t tight-. to give your arms a rest, start on a treadmill-or if you feel more comfortable going around the block-you can do that too. strecth, and slowly start increase your workout.(walk-jog-run). make sure to pace yourself. and remember don’t feel like you have to go fast through this-pace yourself. if you have and mp3 or ipod, its help to listen to them while working out. make sure you get plenty of rest and water-its important to stay rested and hydrated to let your body refuel. wacth your diet, but don’t over do it. when i got in shape, i ate anything, but in SMALL quantities. like dont be afraid to eat cake or whatever. whenever you can fit jump rope in, that’s good too. it gives your heart a good cardio workout. and use the ab lounge make sure that your arms are warmed up but not tired before you start. the most important thing when you start football too have is stamina. walking and running are great ways. when running during practice all that hard work will pay off.-trust me-Ive been there. well i hope this help a little. remember. take it easy and dont overdue it. good luck.
