Im not fat but I do have fat that is stopping my packs from showing and other areas like chest or arms. I read alot and starving myself apparently doesnt burn fat,only muscle! I have a great diet,drink plenty of water and go gym for an hour or two 5 days straight. Anyone suggest anything?

I’d say eat a lot of protein… a good intake allows for fatburn and muscle increase! (Just make sure you’re working out)
I think you’re doing great, but also give yourself a break, you need time to heal too!
Also try to stay away from packaged and processed foods as much as you can. The shorter the ingredient list, the better.

or would you gain fat while you gain muscle?

If you expend more calories than you consume, you’ll lose fat.

If you force your muscles to do more work than they are accustomed to doing, and you eat enough protein, you’ll gain muscle.

So, if you are doing proper weight training, and eating right…you’ll gain muscle and lose fat.

i am 18, 5’11" 200.

I am a little chubby and i want to lose fat + gain muscle.

i would love to be between 170-185 pounds.

should i cut the weight and fat off first and then start lifting weights? or should i cut the weight and fat off while lifting weights?

any other tips would be appreciated, thanks

if you get rid of the fat first then there will be more muscle
