<p>This recliner is very striking in its design and appearance. It comes with a beautiful one piece solid wood chair back. It also has a matching wood base which makes it even more appealing.</p>
<p>What I like about this recliner is that it looks like a regular chair. However, open the remote control panel and you&#8217;ll find a host of therapeutic features. This gives you a variety of therapies like air massage, vibration massage, heat therapy and even music at the touch of a button.</p>
<p>It comes with a built-in remote control. There is a remote panel mounted on the armrest. Just open the cover to expose the remote controls.</p>
<p>One of the fun features of this recliner is that it is motorized. Just activate the recline function and the chair automatically reclines backward. This is a great way to find the angle perfect for your relaxation.</p>
<p>There are seven airbags which provide a soothing full body compression style massage. There are three automatic programs to choose from with the air compression massage. You can even change the air pressure intensity to three different levels.</p>

<p>There are eight vibration motors contained in the Serenity recliner. Unlike most vibration systems, there is a great variety of pulsing and rhythmic sensations to thoroughly relieve your body. This was the most surprising feature of this recliner in my opinion.</p>
<p>Another nice feature of this recliner is the lumbar roller. There is a stationary kneading roller that provides relief for the lower back. You can adjust the intensity of the lumbar roller to three different settings. Omega also includes a lumbar pillow if you do not wish to use the lumbar roller.</p>
<p>I am also a big fan of heat therapy. Heat is commonly used in sports to reduce swelling and promote better blood circulation. This recliner comes with heaters located throughout the chair. This is a great way to just feel comfortable as you relax.</p>
<p>You will also find an integrated MP3 player. It is operated using the provided USB stick and headphones. Just plug the USB stick into the remote panel and you can operate the controls via the remote as well.</p>
<p>There are a few relaxation recliners on the market today. However, most of them do not have the striking design of the Serenity. Also, you&#8217;ll find that they also do not have the host of therapeutic features found in this recliner as well.</p>

<p>B) Small meals are the way to go: People these days devote the least amount of time possible to eating. Most people only have three meals per day, while some even wrap up the day with only two! This is a great way of gaining in inches and pounds. In order to lose weight, you need to eat six small meals per day, instead of three large ones. You can simply split each of your meal into two, and eat each small meal at the regular interval of 3-4 hours.</p>
<p>Eating smaller meals has three major advantages:</p>
<p>1. Since you are eating frequently, you won&#8217;t feel hungry at odd times. When you don&#8217;t feel hungry, there is no reason behind eating junk foods!</p>
<p>2. With a regular income of energy from food, your body won&#8217;t have any need to conserve energy, and so will keep your metabolic rate high at all times.</p>
<p>3. Since you are eating small meals, your blood sugar levels won&#8217;t spike up to abnormal levels. Thus eating small meals is also good for diabetics!</p>

<p>The moment you&#8217;re able to develop a calorie deficit with these two factors, you shed pounds. It&#8217;s that straightforward. The tough part is having the discipline and determination to stick to your plan. Here are some straightforward tips on how to achieve weight reduction without gimmicks.</p>
<p>1) Calculate how many calories you body needs to consume to maintain your existing weight. This is called you maintenance calorie (search Google with &#8220;calorie needs&#8221; and you will find a few different online calculators that will help you with this)</p>
<p>2) Initially deduct 10% (to a maximum of 500 calories) off the total maintenance calories. Drastically reducing your calories will result in muscle and water loss &#8211; not fat loss.</p>

<p>After a year, people in the diet-and-exercise group lost 27 pounds compared to 22 pounds in the delayed-exercise group. &#8220;Research shows that traditional diet-and-exercise program can work for people who are very obese,&#8221; says lead author, Bret Goodpaster, an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Most participants in the study lost between 30-40 pounds&#8230; but a handful lost nearly 100.</p>
<p>According to a study&#8217;s authors: &#8220;We would love to say that physical activity has a positive effect on weight control, but that does not appear to be the case.&#8221; Recently, a study published in the September 2008 Journal of Obesity raised a few eyebrows. The study contrasted diet versus exercise for weight loss and concluded that, even though exercise may be good for strengthening bones and muscles, improved mental health and mood, lowering blood pressure, improved cholesterol levels and reduced the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, breast cancer and colon cancer&#8230; it may not be the best thing for weight loss.</p>

<p>So how do you make sure this doesn&#8217;t happen to you? The best way is to stick with super foods that have been proven by research to lower cholesterol.</p>
<p>Thus, without further ado, here are 5 cholesterol-lowering foods for weight loss:</p>
<p>1. Kale: And any other type of crunchy, cruciferous vegetable will do the trick here. You see, not only are these vegetables loaded with fiber, but they also have a huge amount of anti oxidants. Even better, they have little if any calories.</p>
<p>2. Beans: This is probably one of the best foods you can eat to control your weight. And beans have both soluble and insoluble fiber which means they pack a powerful cholesterol-lowering punch. Just make sure you incorporate them into your diet slowly as they have lots of fiber.</p>
<p>3. Walnuts: And any other type of healthy nut does a great job at lowering your percentage of saturated fat intake. Just make sure you watch portion sizes as nuts do have a lot of calories per serving. And don&#8217;t forget to reduce saturated and trans fat intake.</p>
<p>4. Tea: Teas have a very powerful class of antioxidants called polyphenols. And these antioxidants have been found to lower LDL cholesterol, the bad cholesterol. The key here is to make sure you are having the freshest tea possible. For maximum effect, stick with loose leaf teas.</p>
<p>5. Fish with lots of fat: Just make sure you stay away from large, pelagic fish and also stay away from farmed fish. Both of these types of fish contain unacceptable amounts of toxins and contaminants. My favorite choice is wild salmon.</p>
<p>Fat loss should be a healthy process. And a great way to make it as healthy as possible is to follow the eating guidelines outlined in this chapter. One more thing: taking action is the most important part of the equation!</p>
