It was a week before you had to fit into your new outfit and you wanted to look good. Let’s face it, you’ve gained a few pounds over the past few years. And sugar hides in tons of different foods, so you have to look at the labels of everything you eat to get it out of your diet. Be especially wary of fruit (that’s right, do not eat fruit, it’s loaded with sugar), sauces, ketchup, “low-fat” foods (they load them with sugar), and any and all sweets.

2. Ban Salt From Your Diet

Salt, also known as sodium, causes you to retain water and bloat. Be careful to read labels of food you eat and be wary of the sodium content. You want to shoot for low sodium in the foods you choose. When you cut your salt intake, you can easily lose 2-3 pounds of water weight in a few days.

3. Increase Your Metabolism

Increasing your metabolism is one of the fastest ways to lose 10 pounds. Your metabolism helps burn calories that you ingest. One of the easiest ways to increase your metabolism naturally is to eat 5-6 small meals per day. Each meal should be 2 hours apart. 4. Fasting Is The Wrong Way To Go

Contrary to popular belief, fasting, or not eating, can actually cause you to gain weight. This is because when you get hungry and do not eat, your body kicks in a defense mechanism whereby it slows down. It does this for survival. So, what happens when it slows down is it slows the rate that calories are burned. This is the last thing you need when trying to lose weight quickly.

5. Your Last Meal Of The Day Should Be Your Last

Make dinner your last meal of the day and do not eat anything until after that until breakfast the next morning. In the evening, your body wants to rest, and thus slows down its caloric burn rate. So, the last thing you need to do if you want to lose weight quickly is stuff yourself with a bunch of calories at night.
